Why use the WordWiz dictionary?

Questions
Where do the definitions come from?
Mainly from WordNet, Princeton University’s lexical database of English. For newer words it doesn’t have, we check the Free Dictionary API and Wiktionary.
Can I look up phrases?
Yes – many common phrases like “ice cream” or “give up” are included.
Does it understand plurals and past tenses?
Yes – type RAN or GEESE and you’ll be taken to RUN or GOOSE.
